10 Autism-friendly venues in Liverpool

Liverpool is aiming to be the first truly autism-friendly city in the UK with venues and organisations across the city pulling out all the stops to create the best environment and experiences for everyone.

It’s not always easy to find suitable activities for children with autism but there are many places in the city which are adapting their environment and catering to those with special educational needs.

Whether it’s opening the venue a little earlier for a more relaxing atmosphere or adjusting cinema lighting and volume, creating a more welcoming environment, Liverpool is already proving it can cater to all.

The Liverpool Echo has published an article featuring 10 autism-friendly venues across the city.  Check out the article here.
