Thank you very much, to all parents and carers who visited school on Wednesday 16th November. We were happy to see so many visitors and to update you on some of our many initiatives. These include Artsmark, Liverpool Counts, Reading Quality Mark and Duke of Edinburgh Award, which add so much to our pupils’ enjoyment of their school experience. Steff Doyle, from Career Connect was delighted to be able to chat with many parents about supporting their child’s next steps when they are ready to leave C.A.S.
Our Enterprise Group sale of Christmas goods was a great success. Funds raised will go back into developing the work of the group in preparing our young people to be active, contributing members of the community.
Our Year 10/11 ASDAN Group would like to send sincere thanks to everyone who generously donated goods to support the work of the Trussell Trust. This will make a real difference to the lives of people in our community who find themselves in difficult circumstances.
Your responses to our Healthy Schools survey were very helpful and positive and will inform our future planning, including arranging some yoga and Indian Dance “taster” sessions for parents and carers. Watch out for updates!
Everyone at C.A.S. is looking forward to seeing you again, for our Christmas show, at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday 15th December. As usual, we will be having a charity raffle, with lots of lovely prizes. This year we will be donating to Children in Need.
