Online safety update

online_safety_title_2_979639879Over the past two weeks, all pupils at C.A.S. have had special assemblies to make them aware of the most up to date advice on “Keeping Safe Online”.

To ensure this was delivered in an age appropriate way, there were two assemblies, one for Key Stage 2/3 and one for Key Stage 4/5.

All pupils were told –

  • How to stay safe when going online
  • How to report concerns or problems
  • Shown age-appropriate emotional awareness videos

They will now be given a copy of the most recent “Digital Parenting” magazine to bring home, for parents and carers to read. There are lots of great ideas to help us all to keep our children safe.

As always, any safeguarding concerns should be raised with Mrs Williams or Mrs Hunt, our safeguarding leads. We also have a CEOPS accredited member of staff, Mr Blackmore, who is able to advise on online issues.
