The whole school attended a Remembrance Assembly led by Mrs Hunt on the morning of the 11th November 2014. It was a very special occasion, with everyone joining together as a community, to remember the sacrifices made for our country by soldiers down the generations since the First World War.
It was an opportunity to reflect on how war affects the lives of many people, soldiers and civilians alike and to share our hopes for a peaceful future.
All our pupils were extremely moved by the assembly and showed the utmost respect.
Thanks to all the humanities groups who helped Mrs Hunt to prepare and whose work is currently on display in the School Hall.
