Children’s Mental Health Week takes place this year between 7th and 12th February. We know that mental health issues can be just as challenging and distressing as any other form of illness. Anyone of us could be affected by mental health issues, therefore it is vital that we, as a community, learn how best to build resilience in ourselves and to support it in others.
The theme of the week this year is KINDNESS. At Childwall Abbey School, all pupils and staff will be taking time in whole school assemblies and in form groups, to think about and identify opportunities for acts of kindness which will make ourselves and others feel strong and valued.
We will be sending home some Tips for Parents, so that you can be involved in supporting this important initiative. For further information, look on the Place2Be website.
