Many congratulations and a huge “Well Done” to all our pupils, staff and wider school community (guided by our Numeracy Champion Mr Watkins and our School Council Numeracy Committee), for achieving the Liverpool Counts Silver Quality Mark. This recognises the high priority given to developing and using numeracy skills throughout the life of our school.
Our assessor, Mr Carden was delighted by the welcome he received on Wednesday 15th June. He reported that, ”Pupils explained confidently the system for grading lessons as Gold, Silver or bronze.” and that ”the initiatives introduced helped strengthen the students’ understanding of how numeracy plays a vital role in all lessons.”
We thank Mr Carden for his encouragement and now intend to “Go for Gold” in the next academic year.
